About me,

I began my career in photography in 1988 working for Bryn Alan Studios in St. Petersburg, Fl. shooting High School portraits. It was during this time that I was exposed to studio practices and shooting high volume portraiture and sports. This experience motivated me to relocate to Miami in 1993 and begin work as a stringer for the wire service Agency France Press until 1997.

During these years I lived in Miami, Atlanta and Denver. I was fortunate to shoot many world news and sporting events, and was published in many national and international publications. Assignments ranged from breaking national news, demonstrations and presidential visits to SuperBowls, NBA finals, World Series and even the 1996 Summer Olympic games.

I then turned my sites to newspapers and in 1999 began work was a staff photographer at The Town Talk in Alexandria, LA. In 2007 I relocated to Shreveport, La. when I was brought on at The Shreveport Times where I worked until the end of 2016. During this time I covered all manner of assignments, video and still. Studio, location portraiture, news, sports, advertising, food and business are all disciplines I have expert knowledge and experience in.

Currently I am located in Monroe, Louisiana where I am a photographer at Nuby Inc. At Nuby I am responsible for producing images of their product line for online sales, promotion and packaging.
